As the year comes to a close, we’re excited to share all the incredible momentum happening in the Asian District. On December 6, the Asian District Cultural Association held a full-day Board Retreat with the Metisse Group to develop our 3-year strategic plan. This retreat was filled with vision-building, collaboration, and intentional planning for the future of our district.
We also officially welcome two new board members:

Vilona Michael
We are thrilled to have their expertise and leadership guiding us forward.
And great news- our 2026 Calendar of Events is officially planned and we cannot wait to share all that’s coming next year!
Asian District Youth Board

On December 7, 2025, the Asian District Youth Board had their 3rd meeting to plan the Asian Youth Empowerment Conference scheduled for April 4, 2026 at Oklahoma City University.
Last year’s conference pulled in 130 high school students from 22 different schools.
ADYB is a group of 24 high school students learning how to plan an event with the mission to connect, grow community and build confidence for AANHPI youth. They plan everything from the conference agenda, to catering, and securing sponsorships.
